JESUS HEALED ME FROM UNRINARY CONTINENCE

My name is Crecentia, and I give all glory to God for what He has done in my life.

For a long time, I suffered from multiple health challenges. In 2022, I was diagnosed with fibrosis both inside and around my uterus. After numerous consultations with specialists, the final recommendation was that I needed surgery. During this period, my life was marked by constant pain. I depended heavily on painkillers, and at times, even those could not relieve me, leading to frequent hospitalizations.
This prolonged suffering took a toll on me, not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually. I fell into depression, lost my appetite, stopped praying, and became deeply angry with God and with myself.

Eventually, I underwent surgery. At first, the recovery process seemed normal. However, about a week later, I began experiencing something unexpected, I could not control my urine. What started as a small issue quickly worsened day by day. I sought help from different specialists and underwent various tests. The explanation given was that the muscles around my bladder had been affected, and I needed pelvic rehabilitation.
Yet, with every rehabilitation session, my condition seemed to worsen. I reached a point where I had no choice but to wear diapers day and night and at time even change up to 3 diapers per night. This brought deep distress and anxiety into my life. I even stopped drinking water in an attempt to manage the situation, which only led to more health complications. Nights became unbearable, I could not rest, as I would wake up soaked despite all efforts. I gradually began avoiding people, I could travel back home because of the shame and I stayed away for 5 years.

In the midst of this darkness, a friend introduced me to Brother Silas of Abba’s Heart World Ministries. When he listened to me with love and care, he told me ‘Crecentia, you will need both Counselling/ Therapy and Parayers’. Through him, I began a journey of prayer and counseling. He walked with me through every dimension of my struggle, emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical. Slowly, I began to rediscover something I had lost: the nearness and reality of God’s love.
As the healing in all dimensions was unfolding, there was a moment that marked me deeply. One day, during an inner healing session, Silas asked me to close my eyes as we prayed virtually, since we were in different continents. He guided me to imagine Jesus walking into my room. The moment I closed my eyes, I literally heard someone open the door. Startled, I opened my eyes, but there was no one.
I chose to remain focused and continued in prayer.
Then Silas said again, “Imagine the Lord is embracing you with His love.” At that very moment, something profound happened. I felt a tangible presence—someone I could not see, yet who was undeniably close. I sensed myself being gently enveloped in arms full of love. Immediately, I broke down into tears, a deep cry, not of pain, but of love.

This experience did not happen just once. It repeated itself in subsequent sessions. At times, the moment I would even set my eyes on Silas during prayer, I would begin to weep, and that same presence would return. In some sessions, we did not even process words or wounds, I simply wept, completely overtaken by the love of God surrounding and filling me. If anyone mentioned the name Holy Spirit, or God’s love, I would find myself filled with a fresh overflow of love and immediately I would begin to weep. I simply became a crying baby in Abba’s loving hands. I felt so loved, valued and cherished by God in a way I had never felt before.

Another significant moment came during one of our prayer sessions in March – three months prior ti my healing -As we were praying, Silas shared that certain dates were flashing in his mind. He told me that he sensed my sickness would come to an end on or before the 30th of June. At the time, I held onto these words in faith, even though my condition had not yet changed.

Through this journey, I began to see myself differently, not as a victim, but as a beloved child of God. As I opened my heart, deep wounds from my childhood, teenage years, and adulthood began to heal. I also came to realize how much I had neglected my sacramental life. I returned to the Sacrament of Penance after a break of about one year and gradually rebuilt my prayer life.

Then came a defining moment.
On the night of June 30, 2024, I woke up almost every hour to go to the bathroom. Exhausted and overwhelmed, I cried out loudly to the Lord, telling Him, “I am tired.” After that cry, I went back to bed and fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.
When I woke up that morning, everything was completely dry.

From that day, my life changed.
The Lord did not just heal one condition, He restored me entirely. He brought healing, deliverance, and renewal to my whole being.

Today, my heart overflows with gratitude. I am revived in the Spirit, grounded in my identity as a beloved daughter of God, and committed to growing daily in my relationship with Him.

I glorify the Lord for His goodness and mercy in my life. I also thank God for sending His servant, Brother Silas, to walk with me in my journey. Jesus healed me from urinary incontinence. What once brought me embarrassment, discomfort, and limitation has been replaced with freedom, dignity, and peace. I give all the glory to God for His healing power and faithfulness. Truly, Jesus is still the Great Physician.

“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” Psalm 103:2–3

May God be praised forever.
