♥My name is Teresa, a Kenyan living in the United Arab Emirates, and I would like to share the miracle God has done in my life.
In August, I discovered that I was pregnant. The pregnancy progressed smoothly and peacefully until December, when I traveled home for the Christmas holidays. While there, I was involved in an accident and fell off a moving motorbike at five months pregnant. By God’s grace, the baby was not harmed. I sustained only minor cuts and bruises, which were treated, and after a medical scan, it was confirmed that the baby was safe and healthy.
Upon returning to the UAE in January at six months pregnant, I suddenly developed severe abdominal pain. After further examination, the doctors diagnosed a dangerous abdominal condition that required urgent surgery. My husband and I were deeply troubled, fearful, and uncertain about what to do.
In that difficult moment, we reached out to Silas Kirinya, who offered us counsel and encouragement. He, together with his wife, supported us through prayer and comforting words. Through their guidance and prayers, we found peace and made the decision to proceed with the surgery.
Before I was taken into the operating theater, Silas prayed with us. By the grace and mercy of God, the procedure was successful. After one hour, I came out safely, and both my baby and I were in good condition. I was discharged the following day.
The remainder of my pregnancy continued well until 38 weeks and 4 days, when I gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl without any complications. She was born on the Feast of Saint Gianna Beretta Molla, and we named her Gianna Rose.
We give thanks to God for His goodness, mercy, and protection throughout this journey. We are also sincerely grateful to Silas and his wife for standing with us during one of the most difficult moments of our lives, when we felt we had nowhere else to turn.
