There are moments when God leaves quiet footprints in our lives, moments we do not understand until years later, when we look back and realize He had already gone ahead of us.
This is one of those moments.
In 2021, I sat with one of our leaders, Silas, for a time of prayer regarding my job situation. It was an ordinary day, or so I thought. As we prayed, he suddenly asked me, “Do you know someone called Dennis?”
I searched my mind but couldn’t think of anyone. “No,” I replied. “Maybe someone from work?”
He then asked about another name.
“What about Giovanni?”
Again, I was puzzled. The only Giovanni I could remember was a boy I had known briefly in primary school. The name carried no meaning for me. We simply prayed over those names and continued. He also mentioned Robert, who happened to be the HR manager where I worked at the time, and we prayed for him as well.
Before we finished, he asked me one more question.
“Does October, around the 15th or 17th, mean anything to you?”
I smiled and shook my head. “No.”
The conversation ended, and life moved on. Like many moments of prayer, I treasured it, but I did not understand it. In time, I forgot about it altogether.
Then, five years later, God unfolded what He had already seen.
The man I would marry was named Dennis.
When our son was born, my husband chose to name him Giovanni.
And in October 2025, our lives changed forever.
Our baby had to be delivered by emergency surgery because the umbilical cord had wrapped around his neck. He was born safely on October 15, just days from the date that had been spoken in prayer years before. Those days became some of the most defining moments of our lives, moments marked by fear, tears, prayers, and ultimately, the unmistakable faithfulness of God.
Only afterward did the memory of that prayer meeting return to me.
I was stunned. The names that had once meant nothing had become the names dearest to my heart. The month and dates that held no significance had become the season in which I would hold my son for the first time. What had seemed like random questions in 2021 had quietly pointed toward a future that only God could see.
In that moment, I realized something that has remained with me ever since: God is never surprised by our tomorrow. Long before we step into our future, He has already been there. He knows the names we have never heard, the people we have not yet met, the prayers we have not yet prayed, and the battles we have not yet faced. I know I believe in His Word, not just by hearing, but I have witnessed its authenticity.
Sometimes, in His love, He gives glimpses of what is to come through the gifts of revelation, not to satisfy our curiosity, but to strengthen our faith when the appointed time arrives. When those moments finally unfold, they become living reminders that our lives are held in the hands of a God who declares, “Remember the former things of old;
for I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me,
declaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
and I will accomplish all my purpose.'” Isaiah 46:9–10
Looking back, I am overwhelmed by His kindness. I am deeply grateful for the people God placed along my journey to pray with me, to listen to His voice, and to faithfully speak what He revealed, even when none of it made sense at the time.
This testimony is not merely about knowing the future. It is about knowing the God who already stands in our future. The God who writes our story long before we begin to read it. The God whose plans are always woven together with perfect wisdom, unfailing love, and impeccable timing.
To Him alone be all the glory.

Thanks be to God who indeed knows our end at the beginning….Glory and Praise to God. He has timings for each and everyone He created…wait upon Yahweh faithfully for your turn, He will not fail!
Praise be to God, am blessed to be friends with Jesus and I know my life is in His hands and He has promised me He shall finished what He started in me.
What a beautiful sharing! Indeed God’s revelation is not about curiosity about the future! It’s about knowing the God who already stands in our future. The God who writes our story long before we begin to read it. This requires us to live in the spirit of God who alone can align us to the mind and heart of God! Lord increase my faith and patience!
