I came to know Silas through a conversation with a sister who was already part of the Abba’s Heart group. Through her invitation, I joined the community and encountered a Spirit-filled servant of God whose guidance would become a significant part of my spiritual journey.
What began as a simple invitation soon unfolded as part of God’s greater plan for my spiritual growth and formation. Shortly after joining the group, I reached out to Silas to discuss some spiritual concerns that were troubling me. I was experiencing restlessness regarding certain spiritual matters and was seeking clarity and direction.
During our conversation, Silas shared profound insights that brought light to my heart. He helped me understand some of the experiences I was having in prayer and in the healing of past wounds. In the course of our discussion, he recommended the book Lord, Renew Your Wonders by Damian Stayne. Although this conversation never needed to be repeated, it became a turning point that opened doors I could never have anticipated.
Before purchasing the book, I searched online to learn more about Damian Stayne and his ministry. What I watched and read deeply moved me, prompting me to obtain the book without hesitation. Within less than two weeks, I had read it from cover to cover. I can truly testify that it is a God-inspired book.
The impact of that recommendation extended far beyond the book itself. I later attended several conferences organized by Damian Stayne and his community. On three separate occasions, I received words of knowledge and prophetic messages concerning gifts of leadership, teaching, prophecy, and healing that God had placed within me. Remarkably, these same gifts had previously been spoken over my life during an online conference organized by Abba’s Heart Ministry through Mike and his team.
Today, I can testify that the prophecy concerning leadership in education has already been fulfilled. While it is a calling that carries its own cross and responsibilities, it is also accompanied by a grace greater than I could ever have imagined. For this, I give all praise and glory to God.
I can also testify to God’s marvelous intervention within my family. During my conversations and subsequent chats with Silas, I shared the painful reality of division within our family and the spiritual drift of some family members who had distanced themselves from the faith. What once seemed like a source of sorrow has now become a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Our family is united more strongly than we could have hoped, and those who had left the Church have returned with renewed commitment and dedication to their faith.
Looking back, I can only stand in awe of God’s greatness, mercy, and abundant grace. Through simple acts of obedience, guidance, prayer, and encouragement, the Lord has brought spiritual growth, confirmation of His calling, and restoration within my family.
