A SIMPLE PHONE CALL, BECOME THE DOORWAY TO SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY

At the beginning of this year, when everything was still quiet and new, I made a deep and personal decision: I needed help. There were things in my life I could no longer carry alone, and I felt drawn to speak to the ministers of Abba’s Heart. I didn’t know how it would happen, but I turned that desire into prayer.

Day after day, I asked God to make a way.

I tried to meet Mr. Silas, but distance and circumstances stood in the way. It felt like yet another closed door in a life that had already seen too many. For a moment, it seemed like this, too, would not happen. But God does not need perfect conditions to answer a prayer.

What I could not achieve through planning, He arranged in His own way. A simple phone call, something so ordinary, became the doorway to something extraordinary. And when that call finally came, it was not just a conversation. It was a divine encounter for me that changed my life forever.

As Silas prayed with me, something broke in my life. Not on the outside where everyone could see, but something deep within me, where I had been weary, wounded, and almost empty and I had stopped going to vhurch. It began to feel like a heavy weight I had carried for years was suddenly lifted. Something that had been silent inside me came alive again.

Before that moment, my life had been stuck in a painful cycle. I had tried, I had struggled, I had hoped, but nothing seemed to change. Doors remained closed. Efforts led nowhere. I felt forgotten. Discouragement had become my normal. Hope had become distant.

But in that moment of prayer, God stepped in. It was not loud. It was not dramatic. But it was undeniable.

A light broke through my darkness. And from that very moment, my story began to change.

Since January 2021, I had struggled with even the most basic needs. Paying rent was a burden I could hardly carry. Food was uncertain. And this was not just about lack, it affected my dignity, my confidence, and my sense of purpose, especially as a graduate.

But today, I stand with a different story. God has restored me.

I can now pay rent for myself, and I can provide food. What may look small to others are great miracles to me. They are clear signs that God has remembered me and Abba Father truly loves me.

After that encounter, I resumed church, doors I had given up on began to open. I received a short-term contract. I found a job, not exactly in line with my profession, but enough to steady my life. Enough to meet my needs. Enough to remind me that I am not forgotten.

And one word keeps echoing in my heart: restoration.

God has taken what felt lost and begun to bring it back. He has turned what felt impossible into my present reality.

So I share this today as a testimony of His faithfulness. That God answers prayer. That no situation is too far gone. That even a simple moment of prayer can become the turning point of a life.

All glory to God and thank you, Silas and Abba’s Heart World Ministries, for allowing yourself to be used by God in that moment. You became a vessel through which God reached me. And I pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to guide you and use you to bring healing, hope, and restoration to many more lives, just as He did for me.
