Praise Jesus!
When we think of God’s power at work, we often expect dramatic miracles, physical healings, prophetic words, or visible breakthroughs. Yet I have come to discover that some of God’s greatest miracles happen quietly, in the hidden places of the heart, where He gently reshapes our thinking and draws us ever closer to Himself.
This has been my experience through the ongoing Intercession Formation classes.
By every measure, I know I am still a work in progress. Yet even in this unfinished state, I can confidently say that these teachings have become one of the most transformative experiences of my spiritual journey.
The first gift was simply that the classes were opened to everyone. From the moment I began attending every Friday, I found myself entering into an entirely new understanding of prayer. What I had previously seen primarily as supplication or intercession gradually unfolded into something much deeper—a sacred invitation into the very Heart of God.
Week after week, my perspective has changed.
Prayer is no longer merely something I do; it has become a place of communion where God’s desires begin to shape my own. The teachings have opened my eyes to the immense privilege of praying according to God’s mind rather than simply presenting my own concerns before Him. I have come to appreciate that true intercession is not persuading God to do our will, but allowing Him to reveal His will and inviting us to participate in it.
One of the greatest blessings has been the rich unfolding of Sacred Scripture throughout the teachings. Familiar passages that I had read many times before suddenly came alive with fresh meaning. It reminded me that the Holy Spirit often allows those He has formed and gifted to perceive treasures in the Word that a casual reading can easily overlook.
Looking back, the words of the prophet Hosea have become deeply personal to me: “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” I now recognize that there were many occasions when, despite sincere intentions, I may have interceded without understanding God’s heart as fully as I should have. Rather than bringing condemnation, this realization has produced humility and an even greater hunger to learn.
One particular session, on 17th July 2026, left a profound mark on my soul. For the first time, I truly grasped the seriousness of God’s timing. I understood more clearly that obedience is not only about eventually doing what God asks but responding when He asks. Delayed obedience can mean missed opportunities for grace—not only in our own lives but also in the lives of those to whom God sends us. That truth convicted me deeply.
Yet the Holy Spirit did not leave me in conviction alone. As we reflected on Joel 2:25—“I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten”—my heart was overwhelmed by God’s mercy. I found great hope in realizing that even where there have been failures, delays, missed opportunities, or seasons of spiritual negligence, our Father is not eager to condemn but to restore. He is able to redeem lost time and breathe new life into places where we thought we had failed Him beyond repair.
That revelation brought both tears and hope.
These classes have become much more than a Bible study. They have become a place of personal conversion. They are continually redirecting my mind and heart, helping me realign my life with God’s purpose and teaching me not merely to ask what I want Him to do, but to seek what He desires and how He desires to accomplish it.
I find myself returning often to the words attributed to St. Padre Pio:
“God is served only when we serve Him according to His will.” Those words now carry a depth they never had before.
This formation has become for me a school of discernment, a platform for right understanding, and a gentle invitation to daily repentance, especially for the sins of omission, delayed obedience, and the countless small neglects that often go unnoticed. Above all, it has led me to encounter, in a deeper way, the inexhaustible mercy of God, who patiently forms His children and never tires of calling them back to Himself.
I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to participate in these teachings. My prayer is that many others will discover this same grace of interior transformation, for when the mind is renewed, the whole person begins to change.
May God abundantly bless Abba’s Heart Ministries, and may the Holy Spirit continue to illuminate every teaching, every intercessor, and every soul seeking to know and do the will of the Father.
